A big thanks to this streaming service, Netflix who helped us in surviving 2020. No, one has thought of how long this pandemic will last, how long people stay at home. In 2020, Netflix has seen a surge in subscriber numbers and now to kick-off 2021, Netflix has several new additions. Here is a list of the movies and TV shows that will hit Netflix this month.
Netflix has announced the original films that includes a sci-fi action thriller starring Anthony Mackie, and Damson Idris; Ramin Bahrani’s The White Tiger; Charming, an animated musical with the voices of Wilmer Valderrama, Demi Lovato, Sia, Ashley Tisdale, G.E.M. and Avril Lavigne; Outside the Wire; and Pieces of a Woman starring Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf.
So far, there is news of only one Indian original i.e Mighty Little Bheem and another one is — The White Tiger that is technically an American production by Adarsh Gourav, Rajkummar Rao, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The film is directed by Ramin Bahrani.
In new original series, Third season of action-comedy series Cobra Kai and season two of Mexican drama Monarca; Nicolas Cage’s History of Swear Words; that covers the interviews with experts in etymology, popular culture, historians and entertainers and about usage and cultural impact of specific curse words; Surviving Death, A Journalist Investigates Evidence for an Afterlife, Fate: The Winx Saga, based on the highly popular Italian/American animated series Winx Club.
