The entire world is shaken by the second wave of Covid 19. Cases are increasing day by day and people are losing their hope. They are not even able to arrange the resources for medication due to the severely limited access to all types of medical care. CovidCitizens.org, A place founded by 15 Startup Founders and Employees to help in fixing this shortage and fight the second wave of corona with the help of Data.
The mission of founding CovidCitizens.Org is to ease the search for medical care like oxygen, hospital beds, health counseling, doctors’ advice, and more.
Since the spike in cases, India has suffered a loss of many people. The people of the country are struggling with oxygen, hospital bed, and other medication. But it’s very difficult to find due to the increasing number of cases. It is also seen that people are joining their hands and work as a joint community to help each other.
This one-stop platform was developed by organizing data around the availability of medicine, oxygen, plasma, Remdesivir, testing, vaccine, ventilator, ambulance, and hospital to help the country fight against the current crisis. No doubt, it’s a great initiative taken by CovidCitizens.org to help people by the integration of technology and structured data from on-ground suppliers.
In addition to this, this website is also focussing on people who lost their loved ones with mental wellness, home care, and grief counseling. CovidCitizens.org volunteers are also putting efforts into raising money to fulfill the requirement.
The needy people can access Real-time data through the GPS-enabled website, the Introbot Whatsapp helpline (a bot providing real-time information to the seeker), and the Covid Voice Helplines platform (Fireside, is an audio-visual platform with city-wise helpline rooms and 24×7 helpline answering queries in local languages).
