Microsoft Unveils AI-Powered Copilot+ PCs a new category of Windows PCs

Microsoft introduced the AI-Powered Copilot+ PCs, Today during an event at its Redmond, Washington campus. These Copilot+ PCs are the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever built.

In its official blog, Microsoft said – Calling it “the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever built”, the Windows maker highlighted that these computers will feature a special chipset capable of more than 40 trillion operations per second (TOPS). Further, these PCs will also offer new AI features such as Recall and Cocreate, as well as integration of third-party apps leveraging AI such as Adobe and CapCut.

During an event, CEO Satya Nadella highlights that the these AI-powered Copilot+ PCs developed in collaboration with manufacturers like Acer and ASUSTeK Computer, and will perform the tasks without relying on cloud data centres.

Features of Microsoft’s CoPilot PCs

Microsoft’s CoPilot’ PCs feature 8 high performance cores and 4 efficiency optimized cores in the built-in CPU within the X Elite. This new class of Windows PCs will feature a special chipset capable of more than 40 + TOPS (trillion operations per second), all–day battery life, will also offer new AI features such as Recall and Cocreate, bridge language barriers with Live Captions, translating audio from 40+ languages into English. Additionally, access to the most advanced AI models, integration of third-party apps.

Microsoft’s CoPilot PCs Price and Availability

The Microsoft’s CoPilot PCs will come with specific hardware requirements. In the post, Windows maker revealed that Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung have all partnered to launch Copilot+ PCs. The new PC’s starting at $1,000, will be available for purchase on June 18.
