The move is taken since Reliance Jio began its commercial service in September 2016. Customers get 1GB data per day for 30 days, which will be applicable over and above any existing plan, they are currently on.

For Airtel postpaid customers, The same plan will be applicable. The company says the new offer is under Airtel’s ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative.

Furthermore, For the eligibility of offers on customers number dial 51111  on My Airtel App and use the free data benefits. The company says The 30GB free data benefit will be added to subscribers within 24 hours, once they claim.

Under “Mera Pehla Smartphone” program, The company has united with other smartphone companies like Samsung, Intex, Karbonn, Lava, Celkon, Motorola, Lenovo, Nokia, Intel, Zen, and Lephone to offer cashback of up to Rs. 2,000.
