Sony May launch Xperia 1,10,10 Plus, and Xperia L3 at MWC 2019 event will begin at 8:30 am CET (1 pm IST)

Sony is all set to launch its – Xperia lineup, including Xperia 1, Xperia 10 and 10 Plus, Xperia L3 at its MWC 2019 event in Barcelona. Whereas, the Sony Xperia 1 is a flagship, while the Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus, and Xperia L3 are mid-to-budget range smartphones.

Moreover, the event will begin at for 8:30 am CET (1 pm IST) where the company is largely expected to announce four phones.

Specification

Sony Xperia 1:

Sony Xperia 1 expected to feature a 6.5-inch 4K HDR screen with 21:9 aspect ratio and QHD+ resolution. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and Android 9.0 Pie.

Coming to the optics, the Xperia 1 will arrive with tri-camera setup, 12-megapixel sensors – one normal lens, one super wide-angle lens, and one telephoto lens with OIS support.

Other features include 4K HDR videos in 21:9 cinema format, a Cinema Pro app, HD super-slow motion, RAW format support, dual-pixel feature support. Up front, the Sony Xperia 1 comes with an 8-megapixel selfie sensor which lets you create 3D avatars of yourself using the 3D Creator feature.

The phone packs a 3,300mAh battery, and connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, and a USB Type-C port. The Sony Xperia 1 is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.

Price

The expected price for Sony Xperia 1 is CHF 1,099 (roughly Rs. 78,200) and will be available in June. For Sony Xperia 10 may be priced at CHF 399 (roughly Rs. 28,400), the Xperia 10 Plus at CHF 499 (roughly Rs. 35,500).
