SanDisk launches 200GB Connect Wireless Stick priced at Rs 9,990 – How to get started
SanDisk Corporation expanded its wireless flash drive offering today with the launch of all new 200GB Connect Wireless Stick in India, adding to the existing 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB options. The 200GB SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick comes with a price tag of Rs 9,990 and it will be exclusively available on Amazon in silver colour option.
The 200GB SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick comes with faster transfer speeds, giving users, even more, options when it comes to expanding the capabilities of their mobile devices.
The 200GB SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is a small USB flash drive which doubles up as a Wi-Fi media server. This enables the users to access files stored on the drive over multiple devices. The 200GB SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick can connect up to three devices with a wireless range of 45 metres. It also comes equipped with a 500mAh built-in battery which claims to deliver four and half hours of backup (when connected with one wireless device), the company said.
Initially launched in select regions at CES 2016, the 200GB SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is an addition to company’s existing Connect Wireless lineup. The Connect Wireless Stick was awarded as an “Innovation Honoree” during CES 2016.

The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick features the SanDisk Connect app, which enables managing content between devices including iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android devices, Fire tablets, Mac and PCs – offered via password-protected Wi-Fi connectivity. The app has been updated recently to support sharing of content on large displays via AirPlay with Apple TV, and Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV, as well as 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The SanDisk Connect app is available for download through the App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore for Android.

- Turn on SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick by pressing the power button.
- Download and install SanDisk Connect app on your mobile device.
- Connect to Wireless Stick Wi-Fi network “SanDisk Connect” followed by the unique number on your flash stick.
- Launch mobile app on the mobile device and the connection is established.
Now, users can access, share, upload files whenever and wherever they want. The wireless flash drive comes with a USB cable for charging. There are LED indicators on the SanDisk flash drive. White blinking means the device is on, White rapid blinking is for Wi-Fi Data Transfer, Amber Solid is the battery in charge, Red blinking is low battery and colour cycling is firmware update required.
