Some of the other features include MIUI 12.5 and an AMOLED display. There were some speculations about the launch date of the phone as some believed it to be May 12, for the box had 12.5 written on it. New Arrivals of Xiaomi
As the second wave of coronavirus is taking all over the country, Xiaomi has announced it to be an online launch event, taking safety measures as their priority. The new smartphone is a part of the Redmi Note 10 line-up which previously included 3 smartphones, including Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. All these three models were equipped with AMOLED displays, while the Pro Max also came with a 108-megapixel main camera, something Redmi users were glad to know about.
The smartphone Redmi Note 10S was unveiled globally, so it was naturally only about a matter of time before it was decided to be launched in India. Most people are eager to find more information about where Xiaomi positions the Note 10S. As the users of these phones mostly appreciate the camera quality along with good features, all of which come at an affordable and reasonable price, it is possible for it to be more affordable than it required, the Redmi Note 10 but with the confirmed better camera, that is, 64-megapixel main camera. There is a possibility for the phone to be positioned between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000 category.
Launch of Redmi Note 10s
With the launch of the new phone, most Redmi users are looking forward to the specifications. The Redmi Note 10S is likely to have a front camera that features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a punch-hole. As seen in most phones around the same price range and features, the device is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, along with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The biggest upgrade that is most talked about and awaited is MIUI 12.5, the one that was previously confused with being the launching date of the device. The new version of Xiaomi’s operating system (OS) was announced a bit earlier this year but is yet to be introduced in India. The company has been talking about it many times for a while, but there is a chance for the Note 10S to be the first phone to get it, as shown in the picture of the retail box.
This phone is finalized to have a quad rear camera setup including a 64-megapixel main camera coupled with a 2-megapixel macro, 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel in-depth sensor. A 13-megapixel (mp) front camera is expected for selfies and video calls, which is a very useful feature, especially in the pandemic as most people are doing their jobs online. The phone is also more likely to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a USB C port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
While everyone is looking forward to getting more information about the features and price range of the phone, whether Xiaomi launches its new operating system with this new smartphone is most looked forward to by the technology lovers.
