The box had a little information regarding some features, including a 64-megapixel primary camera, a feature majorly popular in the Redmi series. Some of the other features include MIUI 12.5 and an AMOLED display. There were some speculations about the launch date of the phone as some believed it to be May 12, for the box had 12.5 written on it. But the confusion has been cleared when Xiaomi announced that it would unveil the phone on May 13, confirming MIUI 12.5 as a feature.
