In the brand’s new U series, Realme launch its new mid-range smartphone Realme U1, today at an event in New Delhi.

Previously, the company has already launched 4 smartphones. Now, Realme has launched its fifth smartphone in a completely new U-series. Realme U1 catches the eyes of youngsters who love to capture their moments by selfies.

The interesting thing with this new u series Realme U1 is it has been launched in India as the world’s first phone with MediaTek Helio P70. The company also announced at the event that the smartphone comes with the 25MP AI front camera, the pair of accessories – Realme Buds and a phone cover.

Moreover, it expected that this new brand phone will compete with the likes of Redmi Note 6 Pro and Honor 8X.

Realme U1 Specifications

The smartphone sports 6.3-inch full HD+ display with 2340×1080 pixels resolution, 409ppi and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It has a waterdrop-style notched display(the company calls this Dewdrop display), tiny-cut out up top that packs selfie camera and sensors.

It has an octa-core Helio P70 chipset clocked up to 2.1GHz paired with ARM G72 GPU, with two RAM and storage configurations: 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. Furthermore, The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card with a dedicated slot.

In terms of optics, the Realme U1 comes with dual cameras at the back, consist of a 12-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Also, A quick charging battery of 3,500mAh (10W). Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, dual SIM cards with 4G LTE and VoLTE.
