Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition with HD display launched in India for Rs 14,499
The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition smartphone, which was first launched in Mexico last month, launched in India for Rs.14,499. Motorola Moto G Turbo edition is available on Flipkart.
In many ways, the phone is a minutely downgraded version of the Moto X Play, which the company launched earlier in the year.

Motorola Moto G Turbo edition comes with a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 Pixels resolution, the pixel density of 565 PPI and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with IP67 certification which means it can be submerged in 1 metre of water for half an hour and will continue to working without any issues and is also dust-resistant.
The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. More importantly, Motorola confirmed an Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade will be available for this smartphone sometime next year.
This mid-range Moto G Turbo packs a faster 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 graphics processing unit, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
The Motorola Moto G Turbo features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
The Motorola Moto G Turbo edition is powered by a Li-Ion 2470 mAh battery, Motorola has added the TurboCharging feature which gives you up to 6 hours of usage from just 15 minutes of charging.
This dual-SIM Motorola smartphone offers 4G LTE on both SIMs, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 3G, GPS, and microUSB support. It measures 142.10 x 72.40 x 11.60 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 155.00 grams.
