This budget smartphone has been priced at Rs. 8,999, and will be available via Amazon India from 10pm tonight in Black and White color variants. At this price, the Motorola Moto G4 Play faces competition from Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, priced Rs 8,999 for the 3 GB version, and the Honor Holly 2 Plus.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime too comes with a 5-inch 720p display, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and dual-SIM connectivity. But you get a device with a metal body, fingerprint scanner, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, VoLTE support and a massive 4,100mAh battery.
The Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus also comes with a 5-inch 720p display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and dual-SIM 4G connectivity. But it also offers a 13-megapixel rear camera and a bigger 4,000mAh battery.
