Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime Full Review
Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime is set to go on sale today on Flipkart and Mi.com. The Redmi 3S Prime is priced at Rs. 8,999.
Like the Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi is also launching the Redmi 3S in two versions in India – Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime and Xiaomi Redmi 3S. The cheaper version costs Rs 6,999 and has 2GB RAM+16GB storage, while the Rs 8,999 one is called the Redmi 3S Prime and comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi 3s Prime has some pretty good specifications for its price. For Rs 8,999 you get a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC (four cores at 1.1GHz, four cores at 1.4GHz) alongside the Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot, a pair of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras.
The camera on the Redmi 3S Prime performs well in bright outdoors. The camera is fast and responsive and the color reproduction is quite good. However, low-light performance is still an issue.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime is a budget smartphone that offers an uncompromising battery life with it. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S runs Android 6.0.1 and is powered by a 4,100 mAh non-removable battery that refuses to die. It measures 139.30 x 69.60 x 8.50 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 144.00 grams.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
