On Thursday, the new Moto E6 launched in its Moto E-series. The E6 features a similar design as the E5 from last year and a budget Android smartphone.

Motorola has released the phone in Chicago [USA], the key features include Snapdragon 435 SoC under the hood, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and powered by a 3,000mAh removable battery.

The phone is slightly different from the current trend of display notch, hole-punch, or an all-screen design, as the device skips it. The smartphone available will be offered in Navy Blue and Starry Black colours.

The new Moto E6 runs on Android 9 Pie and sports a 5.5-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) IPS screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and 296ppi.

Currently, the phone has been announced in the single SIM card slot, but when the phone is released in Asia, Latin America, and other regions, it will likely have dual-SIM card slots onboard. Moreover, the smartphone powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC, clocked at 1.4GHz, and paired with Adreno 505 GPU as well as 2GB of RAM. There is a 3,000mAh removable battery onboard and you will also get 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card (up to 256GB).

In terms of design, it sports a 13-megapixel single shooter on the back with an f/2.0 lens with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and a LED flash, 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture on the Moto E6.

Other specifications include 2-in-1 front-ported speaker, 2 mics, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Micro-USB 2.0 port, and water-repellent P2i nano coating.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS. The Moto E6 measures 149.7×72.3×8.57mm and weighs 159 grams.

Moto E6 price has been set at $149.99 (roughly Rs. 10,300). According to the company the phone is now on sale via Verizon in the United States, and it will soon be available via other telecom operators like T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, and US Cellular in the country.
