Honor V20 Launches In China With A 48-Megapixel Rear Camera: Price, Specifications
Honor V20 aka Honor View 20 has officially launched in China on Wednesday. The smartphone sports the big 48-megapixel camera and considered as world’s first phones to feature such a big camera.
The company set the price starting price of the device is 2,999 Yuan, which is Rs 30,000 approximately. The top-end model is priced at 3,499 Yuan, which is Rs 35,000 approximately.
Moreover, The smartphone launched with a display hole for selfie camera. Previously, Samsung’s Galaxy A8s, the first phone launched with a display hole for selfie camera. Also, The smartphone sports Link Turbo technology
Honor V20 specifications
The dual-SIM Honor V20 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box based on MagicUI 2.0.1. Considering the design, It has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080×2310 pixels) TFT LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 16.7 million colours, 91.82 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 398ppi pixel density. Also, the smartphone is powered by latest 7nm octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC(2 Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.6GHz + 2 Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 1.92GHz + 4 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz ).
The smartphone is available in two variants — 6 GB/64 GB and 8GB/128 GB. Additionally, It has a 128GB and 256GB options inbuilt storage. It does not support microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Apart from a big 48-megapixel (Sony IMX586 sensor)with f/1.8 aperture, 960fps slow-motion video recording support, autofocus, AI HDR, and LED flash support camera, Honor V20 comes with a punch hole on the screen to support the selfie camera.
For selfies and video calling, there is a 25-megapixel front sensor with f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus support. Camera features include AI photo, night scene, portrait, fun AR, time-lapse photography, slow-motion, and comes with Yoyo virtual assistant. Honor V20 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
In terms of connectivity, Honor V20 supports dual VoLTE, Near Field Connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS among others. It also has LTE Carrier Aggregation-like technology for ultra fast mobile connectivity.
