Search Engine Giant adds an RGB to Hex converter to its Google Search

The Search Engine Giant recently added several features with the attempt to make expand functionality for its users. You can now find your IP address, run a speed test, convert units, and more all from Google Search. Now, Google has added an RGB to Hex converter tool to its browser.

You can convert colors from various web-based formats to another using a simple command — “RGB to Hex” — in Google’s search results.

RGB and Hex are both value formats assigned to describe specific colors in the spectrum, generally speaking, websites rely on hexadecimal while graphic designers deal in RGB, but crossover use is common meaning the new tool should be useful for everyone.

Hex represents colors using hexadecimal notation, while RGB values display each color as a combination of red, green, and blue. For example, black is represented in Hex as #000000 and as 0, 0, 0 in RGB.

The “Show Color Values” arrow on the bottom also expands to reveal detailed information about HSV, HSL and CMYK conversions.
