Asus StudioBook S: world’s slimmest laptops with 17-inch screen, Intel Xeon CPU and Nvidia


Asus unveiled about the world’s slimmest laptop, Asus StudioBook S (W700) workstation with Intel Xeon CPU and Nvidia Quadro P3200 GPU.

According to the official website of Asus, “It boasts a slim-bezel NanoEdge display that effectively allows for a larger display to fit into its compact chassis for immersive visuals. Its combination of cutting-edge graphics and portability makes it perfect for creative professionals.”

One of the biggest highlights is that the laptop is ideal for creative tasks and truly portable. The ASUS StudioBook S (W700) is expected to launch “in the coming months” of 2019.

Specification of Asus StudioBook S

Asus StudioBook S features the 16:10 display measures at 17 inches FHD NanoEdge display( includes thin bezels measuring 5.3mm), but it comes packed inside a chassis the size of a typical 15-inch laptop.

Moreover, It comes with either an Intel Xeon E-2176 or an Intel Core i7-8750H processor, an Nvidia Quadro P3200 graphics card( to handle demanding tasks with its 6 GB of GDDR5 memory)and up to 64 GB DDR4 2666 MHz RAM, 4 TB (PCIe NVMe Gen3 x4 SSD x2).

Apart from these, The laptop has trackpad which includes a hidden number pad, a fingerprint reader for Windows.

Ports include one USB-C port with Thunderbolt and DisplayPort 1.4, three USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.0, and an SD card reader.
