Apple Plans Curved Screens And Touchless Gesture Controls Smartphones
In terms of design, Apple now plans curved screens and touchless gesture controls Smartphones. This change may be seen in future iPhone models i.e one is touchless gesture control and the other is a curved display.
This Project takes at least two years from potentially making it into consumer devices. Previously, These touchless gesture controls feature and has already offered by Samsung in its Samsung Galaxy S4 models.
In this model of Galaxy S4, Air Gestures lets users browse between photos or scroll a webpage just by swiping in the air above the phone, while Air View would function much like Apple’s 3D Touch, exposing additional information when you hover your finger over a trigger area.
So far, every iPhone model has used a flat display. The iPhone X’s OLED screen curves somewhat at the bottom, but the shape is mostly invisible to the human eye.
This Apple project has near-term plans to expand OLED technology to more devices, according to other people familiar with the matter.
To Understand OLED (organic light emitting diode), It displays can be shaped into curves or even folded, unlike the less-flexible LCD screen technology used in prior iPhones
