The Akyumen Holofone Phablet features a built-in projector, dual boots Windows 10 / Android
Akyumen Holofone Phablet – the Californian hardware firm Akyumen has announced that it’s Holofone Phablet with 7-inch display, Dual boots Windows 10 / Android and built-in projector, which was first unveiled at MWC (Mobile World Congress) earlier this year will go on sale in the US from September 1.
Akyumen Holofone Phablet features a massive 7-inch, 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) display. If you need even more space, however, the Holofone includes a 35-lumen projector that can project images up to 100 inches on the diagonal. According to Akyumen, the projected image is of a “high resolution,” so we hope the projector shoots out at least 720p resolution images.

The Akyumen Holofone Phablet is powered by Intel’s Cherry Trail z8300 quad-core processor alongside 4GB of RAM and 128GB of local storage that is expandable. It includes a 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, 4G LTE compatibility, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
It also features a 3500mAh battery, that offers two hours of projection time, but you can keep it charged through the USB Type-C connectivity.
The Holofone Phablet will be powered by two operating systems – a full-blown Windows 10 OS for PCs (not Windows 10 Continuum or Windows 10 Mobile) as well as the slightly older Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Holofone is available for preorder from Akyumen’s website, starting at $600(approx Rs. 40,000) for the basic bundle, or up to $950(approx Rs. 63,500) for a set that includes a host of accessories including a Sabertooth pen, high-quality ear buds, screen protector, external wireless Bluetooth speaker, game controller, Saber stand with built-in battery, allowing up to an additional 5 hours of battery life. Any available bundles will ship out to customers beginning on November 5.
