Facebook Testing Downvote Button That Allow Users To Mark Unsuitable Comments

Among all the social media platform, we are regularly busy with Facebook ( social media giant).

A couple of years after letting its users show their “Reactions”, Facebook now testing downvote button to let users unsuitable comments.

Facebook confirmed late Thursday it’s conducting a brief test of the comment moderation feature. This is the great step after adding reactions to comments, that it would give the social media community a way to review comments that are problematic with respect to a particular post.

Also, it gives an idea to facebook that understands about the “assault“, “misleading“, or “off-topic” comments on a post and a meaningful interaction between users.

Mark Zuckerberg conveys the intention towards this change is that company would get a chance to not just restrict unsuitable comments but also take a action against the misleading information.

Recently, we heard about the increase in a number of fake news on facebook. Due to this company is facing a lot of criticism. The company took this ultimate step for the downvote button to give its users to consider comments that aren’t suitable for a post.

So, this is like exploring the reaction on comments, that gives a feedback to comments.  Moreover, It is expected that the downvote button only appears on public Page posts.
