Samsung Galaxy S7 will cost 10% less than Galaxy S6
According to a new rumour passed along by analyst Pan Jiutang, the Samsung Galaxy S7 might be released along with a slightly smaller price tag than the Galaxy S6. Reportedly, Galaxy S7 will be about 10 percent cheaper than the Galaxy S6.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will prove to be far superior to their predecessors, the Samsung Galaxy S6, and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumoured to have an ultra high super AMOLED display, which boasts of a 4k or even 5k resolution. the Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a 5.5-inch Ultra HD (2160 x 3840) screen with Turtle Glass.
The smartphone will be running on the latest Android operating system, Marshmallow 6.0 and it will come with a 20 MP camera along with the company’s latest ISOCELL sensor.
A new report as of November 3 claims thatGalaxy S7 will sport a 12-MP BRITECELL (“BRITECELL” terminology could point to a sensor that is capable of “low-light shooting abilities”) camera with a bigger 1/2 inch sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S7 will be the first android smartphone to support Cat. 12 LTE for exorbitant 600 Mbps downlink speeds. For an improved speed, there will be a 3.5 GHz processing power.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is believed to come powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, as well as by Samsung’s own 64 bit Exynos 8890 processor with 4GB RAM. Both the SoCs will be capable of supporting Cat. 12 LTE connectivity. It will be the first android smartphone to have the 64bit Exynos 8890 processor.
Latest rumours also suggest the phone will have an iPhone-like Force Touch display using a technology called ClearForce, which able to differentiate between a tap and a press to trigger different actions, USB Type-C, Iris scanner, wireless charging and Samsung Pay.
Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will be released as early as January 2016, there are also other rumours the both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will see an April 2016 release.
According to G For Games, Samsung might feature a 32-bit Stereo D/A converter, courtesy of ESS technology and the device will be enwrapped in a magnesium alloy shell.
Galaxy S7 will come at a retail price of $800 (approx Rs.53,000) while the Galaxy S7 Edge will be priced slightly higher at $900 (approx Rs.60,000).
