Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo Z3x, in China as an upgrade of the Vivo Z1. The smartphone packs with 6.26-inch display(traditional notch design), powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC, and runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie and 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Like other new smartphones, the camera quality has been updated, Vivo Z3x also comes with the improved camera quality compared with the Vivo Z1. However, the Vivo Z3x is basically Vivo Z1, the only change in the smartphone is its hardware. Thus the smartphone offers better selfie camera and will be available for pre-order from May 1 for the phone with Red, Purple, and Black colour options.

Vivo Z3x specifications

The smartphone has a dual-SIM (Nano) sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass, powered by the Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 1.95 GHz and coupled with Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU.

Considering the storage of Z3x, it includes 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD. Furthermore, the smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouch OS 9.0 on top.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Z3x features a 13-megapixel primary rear sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16-megapixel camera with auto scene detection.

Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Jovi AI voice assistant, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), micro USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and a 3,260mAh battery. Also, the Vivo has provided a 3,260mAh battery on the Z3x and it measures 154.81×75.03×7.89mm and weighs 150 grams.

For the lone 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, the price has been set at CNY 1,198 (roughly Rs. 12,400) in China.
