Vivo XPlay 5 with 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 set to launch March 1
The Chinese handset maker Vivo has confirmed that the upcoming XPlay 5 flagship will have a whopping 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, making it the world’s first smartphone to come with that much RAM. The confirmation came in the form of a teaser from Vivo’s Weibo account, which also revealed that the upcoming Vivo XPlay 5 flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor. There is even an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score already circulating on The Internet that shows Vivo Xplay 5 score an unbelievable benchmark score of 1,62,610. Needless to say, this happens to be the fastest smartphone to have existed.
The smartphone will be launched on March 1 this year. On the design front, Vivo Xplay 5 comes with a metal and glass boy with a slight 2.5D curve on the edges that makes it feel premium in hand. The Vivo Xplay 5 sport a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution display. We already mentioned the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and whopping 6GB LPDDR4 RAM.
On the Camera front, the Xplay 5 features a 16-Megapixels rear camera with LED flash and an 8-Megapixels front-facing camera for selfie lovers.
As for pricing and availability, we know that the Vivo’s upcoming XPlay 5 flagship is all set to come out on March 1 this year and sources suggest that the Vivo’s upcoming XPlay 5 flagship could cost as much as INR 50,000 although we find that a little too steep to believe.
