Vivo V17 to launch in India today at 12 PM: Expected Price, Specifications, and More

Vivo V17 is all set to launch in India today, at 12 PM in an event in New Delhi. Previously, the smartphone has been heavily leaked ahead of its official launch. Also, the company has shared some essential information about the device.

Moreover, a phone with the same name has already been launched by Vivo in Russia a few weeks ago, but the company unveils that the smartphone in India will be entirely new and would bear no resemblance to the one launched earlier. The launch will be live-streamed via the company’s official YouTube channel.

Vivo V17 Specification

Vivo V17 expected to feature a punch-hole display, unlike a water-drop notch display found on the Russian variant. Considering the display, the smartphone will feature a 6.36-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ tall with a 1080×2340 resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

In terms of camera, tit sports a L-shaped module housing four sensors. The smartphone is expected to feature a 48MP primary sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front-camera is confirmed to feature a 32MP sensor inside the punch-hole. Both the front and rear camera would feature the Super Night Mode for enhanced low-light performance.

In comparison with the Russia variant, Vivo V17 features Snapdragon 675 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal memory whereas,  Russia variant features a Snapdragon 665 SoC with 8GB RAM and 256GB memory.

There is a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 18W fast-charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 based on Funtouch 9.2 out-of-the-box.

Vivo V17 Price

The price of the smartphone in India is expected significantly lower than that of the Vivo V17 Pro, which was launched at Rs. 29,990 back in September.
