August 23, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled at an event in New York. Ahead of the launch, tipster Evan Blass has revealed full specifications of the upcoming Samsung’s Note. The tipster has managed to get a hold of what he says is official press renders as well as he has also managed to get a hold of the full and final specification of the phone in question.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 looks very similar to the Galaxy S8 series in terms of design, except the sides of the Note device are more squared. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be IP68-certified. Further, the upcoming Samsung’s Note device will sport a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1440×2960 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The smartphone will have no bezels on the sides.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset processor or Exynos 8895 64 bit processor. In India, the company has been launching only its Exynos-based Galaxy S flagship phones so chances are Exynos 8895-based Galaxy Note 8 would be coming to India. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset-based Galaxy Note 8 will be sold in the US. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and will be extended via microSD card slot.

The highlight of upcoming Note will be dual rear cameras at the back of two 12-megapixel cameras. It is the first Samsung phone to come with the dual-camera feature, similar to Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus. The primary wide-angle lens will have f/1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus while the second one being a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2X zoom. Both cameras will be optical image stabilization. It will also sport an 8-megapixel front camera with autofocus and f/1.7 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will run on 3,300mAh battery which is smaller than the Galaxy S8+ but bigger than the Galaxy S8. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also support fast charging via a USB Type-C port as well as wireless charging as Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The Galaxy Note 8 will come with Android Nougat 7.1.1 with Samsung Experience UI.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be available in four color variants such as Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey, Deep Sea Blue. Dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are rumored to be 162.5×74.6×8.5 mm. The Galaxy Note 8 is the most expensive smartphone that Samsung has ever made to cost around €999 or approx Rs 75,749.
