Samsung brings the latest Android and Galaxy-exclusive security updates to as many of its phones. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is getting a new update with the May 2021 Android security patch.
The update is finalized to be released in France first, and there is no information on when does it will be available in other regions. The update brings updates to the phone’s camera as well as Samsung’s Quick Share feature.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold in India in October 2019 running on Android 9 Pie. It was last updated on Android 10 by 2020 and recently on Android 11 based on UI 3.0.

Samsung has stated that the camera function of the folding phone. However, it is not yet known whether the update brings the Galaxy S21’s camera features like the ability to use the camera to display both Pro and Pro Video systems.
The latest update for the Samsung Galaxy Fold carries the house number F900FXXU5EUD7 and is currently underway in France. Other locations need to be updated soon. Can manually check if your device received the update by clicking Settings> Software Update> Download and install. It is recommended to connect and charge a phone with a stable Wi-Fi connection after installing the update.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Fold in October 2019. It features two displays – a Super AMOLED display of 4.6-inch front and 7.3 display of Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED foldable core. Equipped with Snapdragon 855 SoC combined with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage space. The phone supports 4,380 mAh batteries and charges a wireless charger.
As far as the camera is concerned, it has a triple setting on the back with a 16-megapixel sensor and two 12-megapixel sensors. There are also two front-facing camera settings, a main 10-megapixel sensor, and a nearly 8-megapixel sensor. In addition to this, it has a 10-megapixel selfie shooter phone cover.
According to the news by Sammobile, Samsung has recently introduced Quick Share feature to Microsoft Windows with Samsung’s latest laptops and notebooks.
