Gionee Elife E8 – Launch in India
Gionee will be bringing the next iteration in its Elife portfolio – the Elife E8 – to the Indian market this month. At an event to be held on October 8, the company will be launching the new device with a 6-inch WQHD Super AMOLED display, Mediatek octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz and more.
The Elife E8 has a 24MP rear snapper and 8MP front camera. Some other specs include 3GB RAM, Amigo 3.1 based on Android Lollipop, 4G LTE support, 3,520mAh battery, 64GB onboard storage and more.
Moto X Style – Launch in India
Another device that is expected to enter Indian market anytime soon is the Moto X Style.
It flaunts a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage options along with microSD card slot for further expansion.
The smartphone is equipped with a 21-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with dual-CCT flash and supports 4K video recording capabilities. There is also a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with front-facing flash.
The Moto X Style comes with a 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower feature that can charge the battery from zero to 50 percent in 15 minutes.
Apple iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus – Launch in India
The new iPhones are all set to roll out in India by mid of the month on October 16. There have been reports about the indicative prices revealed by Apple – iPhone 6s 64GB at Rs 72,000 and the 128GB at Rs 82,000. The iPhone 6s Plus 16GB at Rs 72,000 and the 64GB model at Rs 82,000 respectively.

The iPhone 6S features 4.7-inch LED-backlit HD display running at a resolution of 1334×750 pixels. It is powered by Apple’s A9 64-bit processor paired with M9 motion coprocessor. The iPhone 6s is available in three storage variants – 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. In terms of photography, the iPhone 6s sports 12-megapixels camera with True Tone dual LED flash. It supports 4K video recording and slow motion video recording 720p at 240fps. The front-facing FaceTime HD camera has also been improved to 5-megapixels. Other features such as Touch ID fingerprint sensor and Apple Pay.
Apple iPhone 6S Plus
The iPhone 6S Plus has a 5.5-inch full HD display. It is powered by A9 64-bit processor along with M9 motion coprocessor. It sports 12-megapixels with True Tone dual LED flash and OIS. The camera also supports 4K video recording and slow motion video recording 720p at 240fps. The front-facing FaceTime HD camera has also been bumped to 5-megapixels with support for 720p video recording. It features a non-removable Li-Po battery along with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The iPhone 6s Plus will come shipped with Apple’s iOS 9 out-of-the box.
Google Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X- Launch in India
Google’s new Nexus series is set to launch in India on October 13. According to the information available on Google Play Store, Nexus 5X will be priced at Rs 31,900 (for 16GB variant) and Rs 35,900 (32GB), while Nexus 6P will be available at Rs 39,999 (32GB) and Rs 42,999 (64GB) in India.

Lenovo Vibe P1 and P1m – Launch in India
Lenovo is most likely to launch the P1 and P1m smartphones later this month. Launch date hasn’t been confirmed but it’s believed to be either October 19 or 20.The P1 and the P1m are backed by incredible 5000mAh and 4000mAh batteries respectively.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 features 5.5-inch full HD display, 1.5 GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 13-megapixels rear and 5-megapixels front facing cameras, fingerprint scanner, 16GB internal storage and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Lenovo Vibe P1m comes with 8-megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixels front facing cameras. It supports dual SIM and 4G connectivity.
OnePlus X- Launch in India
hinese smartphone maker OnePlus will launch a new device named OnePlus X. For specifications, the OnePlus X is equipped with features such as; a 5-inch display; Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor ; This would make it smaller and lesser powered than its would-be “flagship killer”. The price could be as low as $249 which is around Rs.17,000.
The handset includes a circular finger-print scanner, dual rear-camera setup, USB Type-C port and a refreshing new design.
