Motorola on Thursday launched a new Moto X smartphone called Moto X Force. New Moto X Force is close brother to the recently announced DROID Turbo 2.

Motorola says the Moto X Force would be arriving in the UK, as well as the Latin America, EMEA, and APAC regions in November. The smartphone will be eligible for the company’s Moto Maker customisation program where applicable.

Motorola has a four-year warranty against cracking and shattering. Moto X Force is the international version of Verizon exclusive Droid Turbo 2 in US.

Moto ShatterShield display technology used in the device is an integrated system consisting of five different layers and it has a highest pixel densities of any smartphone currently available at 540 pixels per inch.

The Moto X Force features a 5.4-inch QHD (1440×2560) display with 540 ppi(pixels per inch).

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz and paired with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. it comes in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options, it supports a microSD card of up to 2TB. There’s a 3760mAh battery, which in addition to a claimed battery life of 2-days with “mixed use”, also supports Quick Charging.

It comes with a 21-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash and Phase Detect Autofocus, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with flash.

The latest Moto X Force runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The single-SIM capable Moto X Force supports 4G LTE (Cat. 4), 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and other connectivity options.

The Moto X Force will start at £499 (roughly Rs. 50,000) for 32GB version and £534(roughly Rs. 53,500) for 64GB. UK customers will get full Moto Maker support with the Moto X Force in mid-November on Motorola’s UK website.
