After V10 success LG has officially announced its upcoming phone LG V20 flagship Globally

LG V20 will launch on September 6 at an event in San Francisco. The smartphone is the first non-Nexus device to be launched with Google’s latest Android OS version — Nougat. V20 is expected to launch in India too in September.

According to managing director Kim Ki-Wan, of LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd., hinted that the LG V20 might be launched in India within a month.

Which means ideally it should be coming to India either by the end of September or by early October, as per the report.

Not much is known about LG’s next flagship smartphone. That being said it is said that it would retain much of the key selling highlights of the original V10. According to LG, the V20 “will build upon the premium and rich multimedia smartphone experience of last year’s LG V10” hinting at its 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and audio powered by B&O Play.

The LG mobile phone may sport a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen with a display resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. Just like its predecessor, the LG V20 is highly likely to include a secondary display on top of the regular screen.

The LG V20 is estimated to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It could be available with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. The LG V10 is available with 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage capacity. Rumors suggest that the LG V20 may come with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of onboard storage with the option to expand the storage capacity with a microSD card.

The LG offering is expected to be equipped with a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. A previous Tech Times report highlighted that the LG V20 will have a dual-camera setup, which will improve the photo quality. The LG V20 is said to follow the footsteps of LG G5 as the device will be the second modular phone from the Korean company.

LG has confirmed that the LG V20 will be the first LG smartphone to come running on Android 7.0 Nougat.

A teaser image suggests that the LG V20 will pack in superior audio capabilities, which will attract audiophiles. Ahead of its reveal, LG announced that the phone is equipped with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (digital to analog converter), which produces crisper, clearer sound and decreases ambient noise.
