Letv releases the teaser for 20th January launch event in Delhi
Chinese electronics and internet giant Letv which just rebranded as LeEco on 12th January as begun to tease Indian fans by releasing teaser images for its 20th January launch event.
The event which will be held at 2:00 pm at the Gurgaon’s Kingdom of Dreams will be Letv’s official announcement of entering India. The images don’t say much about the upcoming devices but, show two Letv smartphones standing out which is expected to launch at the event.
In another teaser, Chinese smartphone maker Letv shows a hybrid PC with the caption “4GB + 128GB _ _ _ _ _ to be launched in 5 days… Get ready to hold #LeFuture in your hands!”, which may be Letv Le Max with 128GB storage variant.
The company is likely to launch the Le Max alongside the Le 1s smartphone into India. Letv has sold more than 3 million Le 1s within a couple of months, and the phone was the best seller in China in November 2015. Letv by now has released four models of phones, including Le 1, Le 1Pro, Le Max and Le 1s, into the market.

The high-end Letv Le Max phablet features a 6.3-inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution display with a pixel density of 464ppi and 0.8mm bezel. The Letv Le Max sports a 2.0 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset with the Adreno 430 running the graphics and the multi-tasking handled by the 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM module and 64GB inbuilt storage.
The The Letv Le Max features a 21-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilisation(OIS), Sony IMX230 sensor, dual-LED flash, and a f/2.0 aperture lens, alongside a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture.
The Letv Le Max also sports a fingerprint sensor placed below the rear camera, besides Wi-Fi Display connectivity. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top accompanied with the IR Port (for using the phone as a TV remote). The Letv Le Max weighs in at 204 grams and measures 167.1×83.5×8.95mm. It will be available in Silver and Gold colour variants. It features a USB 2.0 Type-C port and MHL 2.0. The Le Max is packed with a 3400mAH battery.
