Lenovo K4 Note with the fingerprint sensor, 3GB RAM to launch on January 5 in India

Lenovo K4 Note, the successor of the Chinese smartphone company’s highly successful Lenovo K3 Note smartphone, will launch in India on January 5, 2016.

The Lenovo K3 Note has been the most promising and the company’s best-selling phone in the recent times. The Lenovo K3 Note went on sale for the first time in July 2015 exclusively on Flipkart. Almost six months later, Lenovo will launch its successor – the Lenovo K4 Note. Lenovo is launching its latest Lenovo K4 India first, before anywhere else. The Chinese smartphone company has been putting out teasers for the new smartphone.

Lenovo has officially posted a teaser on Twitter, confirming that the Lenovo K4 Note will get 3GB RAM up from the 2GB in the previous version. “More than 99% of you preferred 3 GB RAM in the #KillerNote2016 & that’s what you’ll get! Get ready for the RAMpage!”, in a tweet from the company.

Teasers shared earlier hinted at a metallic frame along with a fingerprint scanner. It is also said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor. It is expected to boast 32GB of internal storage and the handset is likely to retain the 5.5-inch display size and full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) screen resolution. If Lenovo can price the K4 Note below Rs 10,000, just like its predecessor, the Lenovo K4 Note will also be a sure-shot hit.
