LeEco Le 2 launched at Rs 11,999, Le Max 2 with 6GB RAM priced at Rs 29,999
The Chinese company, LeEco(formerly LeTV) has launched the Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones.
In April, LeEco launched the three smartphones in China – The Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and Le Max 2. LeEco is not launching Le 2 Pro in India. The two smartphones, Le 2 and Le Max 2, unibody metal design and their highlight feature is the absence of the 3.5mm audio jack. LeEco has instead opted for a USB Type-C port and has also included its CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) technology, which promises to offer high-quality uncompressed audio.
As for specifications, the LeEco Le 2 comes with a 5.5-inch bezel-less HD display, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and Mali GPU, and 32GB internal storage.
LeEco Le 2 also features a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support, and connectivity options such as 4G LTE with VoLTE support. LeEco Le 2 is the successor to Le 1s, which has been company’s top selling budget smartphone in India. The LeEco Le 2 is priced at Rs. 11,999.
The LeEco Le Max 2 offers a 2K 5.7-inch bezel-less Retina display, 5.5 dpi , 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU. It also features a 3,100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 feature and connectivity options like 4G LTE and VoLTE support.
LeEco Le Max 2 will be available in both 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants. Le Max 2 comes standard with 32GB storage but can also be configured with 64GB internal memory. The LeEco Le Max 2 is priced at Rs.22,999 for 4GB RAM variant and Rs.29,999 for 6GB variant.
The rear camera is a 21-megapixel snapper with PDAF and dual-LED flash. The rear camera sensor comes with f/2.0 aperture and supports optical image stabilisation. The front camera is an 8-megapixel one capable of recording 1080p videos.
The Le 2 and Le Max 2 run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Emotion UI 5.6.01 skin on top.
LeEco Le 2 and Le Max 2 will be available from LeMall and Flipkart. Le Max 2 will be available from June 28 while Le 2’s availability will be confirmed at a later stage. The registration for both the devices start from June 20.
Both the smartphones will be available with 1 year free Supertainment package which LeEco had announced at the launch of Le 1s Eco smartphone.
