Samsung’s latest smartphone Galaxy J2 Pro can’t connect to the internet


Samsung’s press releases that its latest smartphone “Galaxy J2 Pro”  blocks mobile data such as 3G, LTE, and Wi-Fi” with the intention of helping students to focus on learning. As we see people are highly engaged in social media network during study hours.

This distracts the students from their study. Also, Galaxy J2 Pro is good for senior citizens who have no interest in internet stuff. For the students in South Korea, This internet-less, GalaxyJ2 Pro smartphone is free.

Moreover, this Phone designed very simply, You can text and make calls with it and take photos with the 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.
For students learning stuff, the phone provides offline DioDic4 English dictionary app, a calendar app, calculator, and an FM radio.

In terms of connectivity, there’s technically an LTE modem in the phone which is disabled for everything but calls and texting. Otherwise, there’s absolutely no Wi-Fi or data to speak of.

Samsung offers this Galaxy J2 Pro with a 5-inch QHD AMOLED display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, and 1.5GB RAM. It has a 2,600mAh battery( removable battery) and a microSD slot for expandable memory.

Currently, The phone is running a promotion for students taking the 2019 and 2020 suneung exam in South Korea. Also, the company plans for not selling the phone outside of South Korea.

For now Galaxy J2 Pro is available in Korea for 199,100 won; that converts to about $185, £130 or AU$240.
