ZTE Blade A2 Plus launched in India: Price, Release Date, Specifications, and More
ZTE Blade A2 Plus has been launched in India and will exclusively be available on Flipkart. The 5,000-mAh battery smartphone will be priced at Rs 11,999 and sale will start on February 6 at 12.00 am. ZTE and Flipkart are offering extra 5 per cent off on Axis Bank Buzz Credit Cards, along with Rs 1000 off on exchange value. Users have to register to be notified of the sale. Just like China, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus will be available in Gold and Silver colour options.
ZTE had launched two RAM variants of the Blade A2 Plus in China – 3GB and 4GB. However, India gets only the 4GB RAM variant option for now.
In terms of specifications, ZTE Blade A2 Plus features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels resolution) LCD capacitive touch-screen display with 404 PPI. The ZTE Blade A2 Plus is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T octa-core SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5GHz and four at 1GHz) paired with 4GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU. The inbuilt storage is at 32GB with the option to expand further via the microSD card (up to 128GB).
ZTE Blade A2 Plus sports a 13-megapixel main camera sensor with autofocus, 1080p high-definition video recording capabilities. The front camera is 8-megapixel with Fixed Focus.
The hybrid dual-SIM ZTE smartphone runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Mi-Favor, which ZTE’s own custom UI, running on top. The battery on the ZTE Blade A2 Plus is 5000 mAh with the company claiming a talk-time of 22 hours.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Lastly, the Blade A2 Plus measures at 155×76.2×9.8mm and weighs 189 grams. It has a fingerprint scanner technology as well. Sensors in the device are Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light, Compass, Hall sensor.
