HTC May Launch HTC 11 Next Year With 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 and Dual Camera

The Taiwan-based smartphone company unveiled the HTC 10 flagship smartphone earlier this year, is selling better than what was expected. HTC is reportedly developing a monster – the HTC 11.

If the latest leaked specifications and image renders of HTC 11 are anything to go by, we are awaiting a bigger version of HTC 10 next year. The speculated smartphone was recently spotted on the Chinese social media website, Weibo.

The latest rumors say that the upcoming device could feature a 5.5-inch display with a 2560×1440 resolution. On the inside, we could see the upcoming 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with an Adreno 540 GPU, which makes a lot of sense considering most of HTC’s power plants have been Qualcomm units; this chip is arriving in the first half of 2017 so that might be an indication that the HTC 11 might come around the middle of the year or thereabouts.

A certain leak also suggests that the smartphone will offer 8GB of RAM along with 256GB of storage.

The pictures suggest that the device comes with a dual-camera setup with 12-megapixel rear cameras and an 8-megapixel front shooter. Lastly, the HTC 11 apparently packs a large 3,700mAh battery cell with support to Qualcomm Quick charge 4.0, Android 7.0 Nougat with HTC Sense UI. The HTC 11 is expected to be launched by June 2017. The HTC 11 is also speculated that it will be the price at £550 in the UK which is roughly about Rs 47,500.

Recently, HTC had announced Android Nougat update for unlocked HTC 10 phones. The device also received a price cut in October. The HTC 10 was launched for Rs 52,990 and is now selling for Rs 47,990.

Talking about the specifications, the HTC 10 comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass, 12-megapixel (HTC UltraPixel) rear camera with Laser Autofocus and Optical Image Stabilisation, 5-megapixel front camera, and runs Android 6-based HTC Sense UI.
