Asus unveiled its Latest VivoBook 4k Laptop: With Windows 10 having 4K/UHD IPS display and 8GB RAM
Asus today announced its latest VivoBook 4k laptop, a laptop that features 4K/UHD(ultra-high-definition) IPS display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and runs the latest Windows 10 OS.
The Asus latest VivoBook 4k comes with a 15.6-inch screen (16:9) IPS display with 3840×2160 pixels resolution, which comes to around 282 ppi. VivoBook 4K’s display comes with wide 178° viewing angles and a wide 72 percent NTSC.
The VivoBook 4K laptop will be available in 5th and 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, with the base model featuring the dual-core Core i7-5500U with a support of 8GB of RAM and expansion slots for up to 12GB RAM of DDR3L SDRAM.
The Asus Latest VivoBook 4k notebook will come in storage options of 500GB 5400rpm HDD, 500GB 7200rpm HDD, 1TB 5400RPM HDD, 1.5TB 5400rpm HDD and 2TB 5400rpm HDD space. This latest VivoBook 4k will also come in 128GB and 256GB SSD storage options.
It also incorporates Nvidia GeForce 940M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM GPU graphics card for gaming.
Other features of the latest VivoBook 4k laptop include a Super-Multi DVD player, a 3-in-1 card reader, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port, one VGA port and one LAN RJ45 jack. The laptop weighs 2.3kg and has 2W stereo speakers and a front VGA camera for video calling. Asus VivoBook 4k laptop is backed by a 2-cell 37Whr battery.
Asus says the VivoBook’s screen corrects colour temperature and optimizes visual settings. The screen has three preset modes- Vivid for movies and photos, Normal for daily productivity and plus Manual mode for full user control.
Asus has also added its Eye Care technology to reduce blue-light levels by 33% for a more comfortable viewing experience. The mode can be activated via an app.
This latest VivoBook 4k laptop will be available in Icicle Gold, Glacier Grey, Black, and Navy Blue colour variants. The keyboard is surrounded by sand-blasted metal surfaces, while the power button features a spun-metal finish.
The company hasn’t unveiled the retail price or availability of this latest laptop yet.
