Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Gaming Smartphone price in India starts at Rs. 39,999
Black Shark, the Chinese gaming smartphone maker has launched the Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone in India. It is Game-centric smartphone that is powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC, comes with a touch response rate of 240Hz and equipped with a liquid cooling system. The phone was first launched in China earlier this year
The Black Shark is the company that was initially funded by Xiaomi and has since gone independent.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Specifications
The new Black Shark 2 comes as the successor to Black Shark, which was launched in last year. The gaming smartphone has a Liquid Cool 3.0 multilayer cooling system is capable of reducing core temperature by up to 14-degree centigrade. There is also octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC 7nm processor clocked at 2.42GHz, paired with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 12GB RAM in order to deliver better gaming experience. Further, the phone has a pressure-sensing Magic Press technology.
Considering the storage, the smartphone includes 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with a customised UI on top.
This dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone features a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display along with TrueView Display support, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 108.9percent DCI – P3 colour gamut and 430 nits brightness.
The smartphone gets an X-Shaped antenna design, dual-frequency GPS, and stereo sound with AI-based noise reduction and anti-howling sound experience. The handset is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual RGB strips that produce over 16.8 million colours and can intelligently sync with in-game effects and more.
As far as optics are concerned, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup that comprises a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.75 lens and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens.
The camera has HDR, low-light mode, portrait mode and an AI camera options and will support 4K video recording at 30FPS.
On the other hand, the rear camera setup supports 2x optical zoom. Also, the phone comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera at the front that has an f/2.0 lens on top, with 5lens technology.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO), and USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a gyroscope.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, comes with 4,000mAh battery, support for 27W fast charging and measures 163.61×75.01×8.77mm.

The Black Shark 2 price in India for the 6GB + 128GB storage model is Rs 39,999, while its 12GB + 256GB storage option costs Rs 49,999. Whereas the Shadow Black and Frozen Silver colour options are included.
Moreover, the smartphone will be available via Flipkart in India, with sales starting from 12 pm on June 4th.
