Nokia 7 Plus And Nokia 8 Sirocco, Now Available In India: Full Specifications, Price
On Wednesday, HMD Global launched Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco in India, at an event in Delhi.
Recently in February, Both the smartphones showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona 2018.
From today (30 April), Both the SmartPhone is now available for Indian customers. Both the Smartphone is available through Nokia’s website and select mobile outlets across the country including Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, Croma, and Reliance Digital.
Furthermore, Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 7 Plus are available through Flipkart and Amazon, respectively.
With the launch of these phones, HMD Global has also included a bunch of launch offers to satisfy customers.
Nokia 7 Plus
The Nokia 7 Plus comes with dual-SIM (Nano), It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
The smartphone features a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS LCD panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is backed by a 3,800mAh battery, which also supports wireless charging.
In terms of optics, The Smartphone features dual-rear cameras( dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics) where one is a 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.75 aperture and another one is a 13MP telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture. On the front is a 16MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and both the rear and front cameras are made using Zeiss lens.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, and GPS/A-GPS. The metal body Nokia 7 Plus measures 158.3 x 75.6 x 9.5mm.
Nokia 8 Sirocco
The Nokia 8 Sirocco comes with single-SIM (Nano), is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo(out of the box and comes with the Android One programme) and is powered by a 3260mAh battery, which can also be wirelessly charged and measures 140.93×72.97×7.5mm.
In terms of optics, The smartphone is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that has a primary 12-megapixel image sensor with a f/1.75 aperture, wide-angle lens and a secondary 13-megapixel sensor with a f/2.6 aperture, telephoto lens. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with a fixed-focus lens, featuring f/2.0 aperture.
Considering the design it features a dual-glass design and protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which covers 95 percent of the phone. It is made using a stainless frame and sports a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560) pOLED display.
Price in India
The Nokia 7 Plus price in India is set at Rs. 25,999. On the other hand, The Nokia 8 Sirocco price in India is set at Rs. 49,999.
Both the Smartphones comes with the bunch of offers to make customers happy. The Nokia 7 Plus offers Rs. 2,000 cashback on Airtel network as a part of the ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone‘ programme owned by the operator.
Nokia 7 Plus customers will also get complimentary 12-month accidental damage insurance from Servify (on opening and activating a Kotak 811 saving account). There are also no-cost EMI options on all major credit cards, Bajaj FinServ, and Home Credit.
On the other hand, The Nokia 8 Sirocco comes with 20GB additional data for prepaid Airtel subscribers that can be availed through each of the first six recharges (Rs. 199 and Rs. 349).
For Postpaid Airtel subscribers, offer with complimentary 20GB data per month on plans priced at Rs. 399 and Rs. 499 for first six months from the purchase of the Nokia 8 Sirocco.
Moreover, Flipkart is offering an exchange discount of up to Rs. 19,000 in lieu of an old smartphone.
