Motorola Moto M Launched in India priced at Rs 15,999: Release Date, Specifications, and More
Lenovo-owned Motorola’s all new smartphone Moto M has been launched in two variants in the Indian market. The base variant, which has 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM, is priced at Rs. 15,999, while the model with 64GB of built-in storage and 4GB of RAM costs Rs. 17,999. The Motorola Moto M smartphone will be available exclusively on e-Commerce site Flipkart with sales starting from 14th December at 11:59 pm.
The Dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) Moto M features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution. The new Moto packs the 2.2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor under the hood. The smartphone is expandable, up to 128GB.
The rear camera is 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture, dual tone flash, and PDAF support, the front camera is 8-megapixel and the phone has a 3050mAh battery with Turbo Charging support. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Dolby Audio support and is also water and dust resistant. The smartphone measures 151.35×75.35×7.85mm and weighs 163 grams.
The new Motorola Moto M connectivity suite includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), USB Type-C (USB 3.1), NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The company, for the first time, has got the fingerprint scanner at the back of the device when usually it has a square fingerprint scanner added on the front end. This smartphone was earlier announced in China in November.
The new Motorola Moto M comes with a special exchange offer of up to Rs 2000 off for an older smartphone; Citibank credit card users get Rs. 1000 off. There’s also Rs 1000 off on the Moto Pulse 2 Headset which will be available at Rs 499.
