Motorola Moto G4 Play launched in India at Rs 8,999: Specifications, features
Lenovo India today has launched the third phone in Moto G4 line-up, the Moto G4 Play. This budget smartphone has been priced at Rs. 8,999, and will be available via Amazon India from 10pm tonight in Black and White colour variants.
The Moto G4 Play features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels with 294ppi. The phone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor running at 1.2GHz speed. The processor is coupled with Adreno 306 GPU for mobile gaming. The phone has a 2GB RAM and sports 16GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.
In the photography department, the Moto G4 Play is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, 4X digital zoom, and 1080p video recording capabilities. The front-facing camera sports a 5-megapixel sensor, and the company is also touting the display flash feature.
The phone comes with connectivity options like GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, and micro-USB connectivity options.
The smartphone is powered by a 2800mAh battery, and the Moto G4 Play also comes with a 10W rapid charger included in the box – it is claimed to provide 5 hours of battery life with 15 minutes of charging.
Motorola Moto E3
Motorola will also launch the third-generation Moto E smartphone in India soon. Reports have suggested that the phone will be launched on September 19. The Moto E3 comes with a 5-inch display with 720p resolution. The phone is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor running at a speed of 1.2GHz.
On the back, the Moto E3 has an 8-megapixel camera and on the front, it carries a 5-megapixel shooter. The Moto E3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which promises an almost pure stock Android experience.
The company may also launch a higher battery version of Moto E3 named Power. The phone will have 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, but the USP is a 3,500mAh battery.
