As expected, the Lenovo device with the model number P2C72 will be officially launched as Vibe P2. Lenovo Vibe P2, the successor to Vibe P1 has leaked in the form of live images ahead of official launch.

The Lenovo Vibe P2 will have a 2.5D 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The size and resolution are identical to those of its two predecessors, the Vibe P1 and Vibe P1 Turbo, but the screen tech used is different, as those devices both had LCD panels.

Lenovo Vibe P2 is likely to get a 5000mAh battery like Vibe P1 but will be thinner at 8.5 mm. Lenovo Vibe P1 was 9.9 mm thick. Lenovo Vibe P1 could feature a physical Home button which also doubles up as the fingerprint scanner.

Earlier this week, Lenovo Vibe P2’s benchmark confirmed the device’s specifications. According to Geekbench listing, Lenovo Vibe P2 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) clocked at 2GHz with an upgrade to 4GB RAM as opposed to 3GB RAM found on Vibe P1. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based Vibe UI out of the box.Lenovo Vibe P2 Leaked with 5.5-inch AMOLED Display, 4GB RAM and 5000mAh Battery

To recall some of the innards of the Lenovo Vibe P1 that launched at IFA 2015, the smartphone packed a huge 4900mAh battery, which offers up to 44 hours of talk time and up to 25 days of standby time on 3G.

Lenovo Vibe P1 featured a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 16GB storage, expandable storage support via microSD card, NFC, USB OTG, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, dual-SIM with dual 4G LTE support, as well as 24-watt charging capability.
