Nextbit Robin Smartphone is now available for Pre-Orders with 100GB storage

The Nextbit Robin, the ‘cloud-first’ is now available for pre-order in Several Regions Including India. The handset is Priced at $399 (approximately Rs. 26,000) and it can be estimated ship date of February, you can ship it to India at an additional $70 (approx Rs 4,600). The company is providing each buyer 100GB of cloud storage for free.

The highlight of Nextbit Robin is unlimited storage, The Nextbit Robin smartphone that comes with 32GB of internal memory with another 100GB of Nextbit cloud storage. It automatically backs up photos and other data that you haven’t used recently to the cloud to free up space on your device.

Nextbit is a company that was formed by former employees of HTC, Google and Apple. The company had put the smartphone up on Kickstarter for financial support, where it received an overwhelming response.

Nextbit has its own OS running on top of Android and designed to learn your habits. It automatically pushes unused apps and services onto the cloud.

The Nexbit Robin comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 4. The Nexbit Robin is powered by Qualcomm’s hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage that can’t be expanded using a microSD card. The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor. The device looks pretty neat in a rectangular form factor. The Nextbit Robin comes in two colour variant of Mint and Midnight.

The Nextbit Robin include a 13-megapixel rear snapper, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2680mAh battery, and a USB Type-C charging port. The single-SIM capable device supports LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and other connectivity options.

The Nextbit Robin runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The company noted that the Robin is completely carrier unlocked. The bootloader of the Handset is unlocked too, which means that one could flash their own favoured custom Android ROMs on the Smartphone.
