Microsoft Lumia 550
The Microsoft Lumia 550 budget 4G smartphone, The budget Windows 10 smartphone was introduced alongside the flagship models – Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, the Microsoft Band 2, the Surface Pro 4, and the Surface Book at the Windows 10 Hardware event.
The all new Lumia 550 is priced at $139, which is slightly over Rs 10,000. Expected to ship in December 2015, the smartphone has a 4.7 inch HD720 (1280 x 720) IPS display with a pixel density of 315ppi.
Lumia 550 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB onboard storage expandable up to 200GB via a microSD card slot. The handset uses Adreno 304 GPU for graphics. Sensors: Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor.
Moving on, the Lumia 550 sports a decent 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture, HD video recording and LED flash. On the front side, there’s a 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.8 aperture and 480p video recording. The device is powered by a 2100 mAh battery that has an estimated usage time of 13.9 hours on 3G and a standby time of 28 days.
The Lumia 550 is the Windows 10 Mobile Operating System, which includes Microsoft Edge browser, new Outlook and Office, OneDrive integration, Cortana voice assistant and Glance Screen. The handset also supports high-speed 4G LTE bandwidths.
